In my opinion Norwich City should be able to win in front of a home crowd today.

Bristol Rovers plays in League One, one level lower than Norwich and that should be visible on the pitch today. Guests don’t have a good streak in the FA Cup. They failed to qualify into the 4th round of the FA Cup in the last 15 consecutive seasons and I see continuation of this bad trend today.

Norwich come for this game with a full squad, all key players are available today. I believe they have big motivation to win this game at home, coach David Wagner said: “I’m from Germany and the FA Cup is something very special. It’s the oldest competition in world football. I like this competition as it’s traditional. We’ve sold 18,000 tickets up to today.” I expect a strong line up on the pitch.

Despite an average season, Norwich is solid at home where they won 7 of 13 league matches. Norwich don’t have big problems with goalscoring in front of the home crowd - 6 goals in the last 3 matches. In the current season they failed to score at home against Preston (had 1.30 expected goals scored in that game) and against leader of the table Leicester. Norwich have enough quality to score goals against Bristol because Rovers defensive formation is out-of-form. In the last round they conceded 3 goals on the road against Wycombe (2.86 expected goals conceded). Bristol conceded more than one goal in 5 of the last 6 away matches. During that run they conceded one goal against Bolton, but Bolton received a red card in the first half as still was able to score.

Norwich in the last game played at home against strong Southampton and avoided loss. Confidence should be at a high level. In my opinion Norwich will score more than one goal today and grab the win.
