They are a team who is competitive, but lack goals because their strikers are too weak. They’ll miss in this match especially Samu Orodion, a very important player for their attack because he generates a lot of spaces and chances, being a very difficult striker to cover.

On the other hand, of course Betis will make rotations but they have a squad built to compete in Europe as well, so they don't have only 12-13 good players like Alaves. Betis has 17-19 players who could be starters in an important game, so they can afford much better this tournament.

Furthermore, they have much more motivation because they have the level to win it, as did two seasons ago (2021/22) where they won the title.

Betis has some injuries but will use a very strong and competitive lineup, with top players such as Luis Henrique, Willian Jose or Guardado. They are a very competitive team and difficult to beat, and honestly can’t see Alaves doing it.

Also the Cup is important for them because winning it, could qualify for the Europa League without regard to their position in La Liga. This is their target for this season so the Cup could be another way to reach it.

So guests have more motivation, quality and a much deeper squad to play this tournament. I see Alaves short of motivation here and much more focused in the league, which is the most important tournament for them.
