In my opinion Middlesbrough have really good chances to make win in today’s match up.

I see big difference between both teams in terms of quality, potential and ambitions. Boro wants to finish season inside top6 in Championship at the end. On the other hand Port Vale wants to avoid relegation at the end of the season in League One.

I don’t trust for Port Vale. They already lost 5 of 9 home league matches. Hosts one of the best player in current season (according to the ratings) Funso Ojo is very doubtful, same as team captain Nathan Smith.

Middlesborough won in this competition 19 years ago and they have big ambitions for current edition.
