It is hard to see Villarreal offering something defensive wise to stop this free scoring Barcelona side, more so after Real Madrid had lost points against Betis with the 0-0 draw.

Barcelona is out of the Champions League, unlike Villarreal who is still involved in the Europa League campaign themselves, and can fully focus on the LaLiga task.

Koeman’s principals started clicking at Barcelona around 2 months ago and the team improved immensely. Overnight they had become one of the most pleasent sights to witness in Spain, reminding a lot of Balearic version of Flick’s Bayern Munchen with their all-around dominance and insane emphasis on attacking third.
