In my opinion Hertha have really good chances to make at least one point in today’s match up.

Hertha currently have good streak against Hannover as they didn’t lost against them in last 4 consecutive matches and recorded 2 wins in a row on away.

Hannover at the moment is on 4th position in league table, 8 spots above Hertha (5 points difference), but if You look deeper Hertha is not worse team. According to the expected goals scored table they are second-best team in Bundesliga 2!

So far this month Hertha looks very good. They recorded excellent 3:0 win at home in DFB Pokal against Mainz from Bundesliga 1. After that Hertha played two league, both finished with draw (against Hansa on away and against Karlsruhe at home), but they should make more points – in both matches they had higher expected goals scored number than opponents. Hertha don’t have any new absences and their line up should look exactly the same line in previous round.

Hannover lost on the road against Schalke after that they recorded comfortable win at home against poor Braunschweig (relegation zone). In last round they played on the road against St. Pauli. Match finished with draw 0:0, but that was very poor performance from Hannover – they finished with only 0.13 expected goals scored.

Hannover have serious squad problems before this game. Their top scorer Teuchert (8 goals) is unavailable, same as key midfielder Besuschkow. Key right back Dehm is doubtful for this game. That should have very bad impact on hosts performance.

On those circumstances I see really good value for Hertha to avoid loss in this game.
