I was planning to hit Norway here as this is a rather meaningless and stateless match for both and Norway would need to save their face a bit after the poor qualification campaign and they are out.

However they miss their two best players, world class stars Haaland and Odegaard today, their dress rehearsal match was a 2-0 win over Faroe Islands at home, and as Scotland have truly been good in this qualification I see them performing well in front of their own fans.

In addition to the shiniest stars also striker Sörloth from Spanish La Liga side Villarreal is out, and it means that Norway have basically only second string wingplayers available, Strand Larsen and Elyonussi, and I can not see them causing much havoc in tough Scottish defense. They also miss Sevilla keeper Nylund and a few other less important players.

Haaland is actually not really injured, but as there are no stakes he is rested, which tells about the approach of Norway here. They could not care less. The Scottish coach Clarke said he would had wanted to the best players here himself now when there is no fear of losing anything.

At home Scotland have been huge this campaign, they have not conceded one single goal and even deservedly won over Spain by 2-0, they have no new injury worries.

I am not a big fan of friendlies, but for today there is not much on offer.
