A rich Saturday in terms of different betting options. I would say the selection is so big, that we’re spoilt for choice. So I am focusing first and foremost on the options, which I would call a “must have”.

First one is in Italy, where relegated (de-facto) Crotone takes on Parma. Hosts are in shallow waters themselves aftert the dramatic last minute 3-4 loss to Cagliari, which may in the end prove really costly and send them to Serie B.

While Crotone has already given up and the recent run of results clearly suggests that they are done. 0-1 against Sampdoria in an absolutely colourless and dead game in the previous round was a follow up to a similar 1-2 defeat against Udinese. The last time I saw Crotone really on fire as a result was against Spezia in the 2-3 defeat and Napoli in the crazy 3-4 loss.

If we compare how the team approached their last round fixture against Sampdoria and what we saw from them in the Spezia game - it would be a difference like between day and night.

Parma has been ferociously fighting for life in recent rounds, but all in vain. A shocker turnaround in the away game against Cagliari, where they let 3-2 lead slip to 3-4 defeat in stoppage time; then a decent effort against Juventus, which still ended in a 1-3 defeat. To Parma’s credit, they are scoring goals, but systematically failing to hold on the lead.

While relegation seems close to inevitable for Parma, they still have reasons to believe and should not give up without a fight. The club is ambitious enough being owned by Americans and having signed Director of Football from Zenit (Rybalta) earlier in the month. They have serious plans and to fulfil them a win against morally exhausted Crotone is required.

I was honestly expecting odds around 1.50, but then came to realize why we have 1.80 at hand - Parma has only won 3 (!!) games all season in 32 rounds. Even less than Crotone. Well, maybe we will only have a reason to thank Parma for this and the win on Saturday. You can save yourselves with a bet on Crotone around 5.00 odds. This game SHOULD NOT end in a draw.
