So the new manager Calleja have not yet conceded a goal, but they did have a really lucky escape in Bilbao and had to thank for their keeper of the point. The home win over Huesca last week was also an undeserved and lucky one, but it is a show of better self-confidence, and brings  lot more hope and determination into their heads. The big question over Calleja was how he does away from Villarreal where he spent his career earlier, but at least he got a lucky and positive start!

Alaves are practically in full strenght, the survival is in their own hands, but this might be a match where they are more likely to rest a rotate a bit, there is Valencia awaiting in a few days time and it is more winnable fixture. Lejeune will be back as a starting centre back, in my eyes he is hazard and likely to cause problems in his own box!

Villarreal are also still in the Europe League semifinals next week, and for their Unai Emery it is a competition he likes to win, and has done so several times. As they also have Barcelona next before the EL game I am expecting a very practical and cynical approach to these games from him. Today with best possible lineup to secure the 3 points, and to go with bench players.

Villarreal have played 3 games. Easy wins over Granada and Levante away. The unlucky loss to Osasuna was between the European fixtures which messed with concentration and also some important rotation was made.

Villarreal are also practically in full strenght, and I am pretty sure they are not going to give anything for free to their previous manager Calleja, who for sure is full of revenge spirit, but unfortunately for him with a class-wise very limited side.
