In my opinion Lyon is able to score more than one goal today and make first win of the season.

Both teams are in relegation zone, but without any shadow of doubt Lyon is better team in comparison to Lorient in terms of quality, potential and ambitions.

I saw Lyon full match 4 rounds ago when they played at home against title defender PSG. They lost in that game, but they looked dangerous in attack as they finished with 19 shots and 2.28 expected goals scored. What is surprising for me, after that game against Paris, Lyon failed to score in last 3 rounds in a row, but they had a lot of unluck. According to the expected goals scored model they should scored 3.5 goals in last 3 rounds. Lyon really have good enough players in attack like experienced striker Lacazzette to score goals today against poor Lorient defensive formation.

Lorient coming here after two consecutive losses for sure their confidence is on low level. They recorded only one point in last 4 rounds and in each game they conceded more than one goal (13 goals conceded in last 4 rounds!). No stability or consistency at the back at all. Is not problem to create big chances against them at the moment and that should be great opportunity for Lyon to bounce back on good track front of home crowd.

Lyon have enough firepower to make damage today.
