In my opinion Strasbourg have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

Strasbourg have good mental advantage before this game as they went unbeaten at home against Lens in last two consecutive seasons.

Two years ago Strasbourg finished in Top6. Unfortunately, last season was horrible for them. Strasbourg finished 3 places above relegation zone. Action was required and action was taken - Strasbourg signed high quality coach Patrick Vieira. He was Crystal Palace coach for almost two years in Premier League and for sure he have all required tools to finish season with top half of the table (at least).

Strasbourg improvement is really visible. 10 points after 6 rounds and they are in Top6 at the moment. Team deserved to be there. They scored 7 goals (according to the expected goals scored model they should score 8.1). They conceded 8 goals (according to the expected goals conceded model they should concede 7.6). Strasbourg lost two matches, but twice they played on away and twice against top places contenders (Monaco and Nice). Strasbourg looked excellent at home so far (7 points in 3 matches). They are in great mood as they went unbeaten in last two rounds and wants to go with momentum front of home crowd.

Lens had excellent season, but lost two the best players (Fofana & Openda) before start of current campaign and now they have huge troubles. Only one win in 6 rounds. In addition to that, their schedule is fully packed as they playing in Champions League. Next Tuesday huge game at home against Arsenal so some rotation in squad is possible. For sure Lens not coming here with big confidence - they lost all 3 away matches in current season of Ligue1 and conceded 9 goals in the process.

I really don't see Lens as so big favorite here. Strong value on home side, no doubt about that.
