In my opinion Tottenham is clear favorite of today’s match up and should be able to make comfortable win with at least 2-3 goals difference.

Tottenham have superb record at home against Sheffield as they didn’t lost against them in 38 of last 43 matches. It’s huge mental advantage, no doubt about that.

Tottenham in opening match recorded draw 2:2 against dangerous Brentford, but they flying sky high at the moment after 3 consecutive wins and they have realistic chance to make best start of the season since 1956/66. Also for the first time since then they have chance to score more than one goal in first 5 league matches in a row. Offensive players are fit and ready to go, winger Kulusevski looked really impressive in national matches for Sweden (he was man of the match against Estonia – goal and assist). Key striker and team captain is also ready to go – he loves to play against Sheffield. In 4 league matches against them in past he scored 2 goals and recorded 3 assists. To be honest, I’m really impressed how Tottenham started with new coach Ange Postecoglou on the bench.

Sheffield simply doesn’t belongs to this level. They lost 32 of last 42 matches in Premier League. They don’t like to play in London. Currently they have horrible streak against London teams in Premier League as they lost last 11 away matches in a row here and conceded 26 goals in the process. I don’t know how they can stop Tottenham firepower today. Sheffield conceded more than one goal in last 3 league matches in a row and today their two key defenders Egand and Balldock are doubtful after national matches.

Tottenham won 7 of last 8 matches against league newcomers. They have all required tools to make convincing win front of home crowd. I see 3-4 goals for hosts and 0/1 for guests here.
