They need another big score against Cyprus and then beat Scotland. So depending on goal difference, could be the leaders of the group. At the moment, the goal difference is +11 for Scotland and +7 for Spain.

For this fixture, rotations are expected everywhere in all positions, but there isn’t too much difference between “starters” and “reserves”. Coach Luis de La Fuente still doesn't have a starting lineup, as he is changing the squad in every international break and also the lineup in every game.

If Spain scores soon, the team will gain more and more confidence, they’ll find spaces and will be hungry for goals. Recently they had some games like these: Georgia (1:7), Costa Rica in the World Cup (7:0) or Iceland in a friendly 1 year ago (5:0).

And given the players’ motivation, home support, the necessity of achieving a big score to reduce the goal difference with Scotland and the weakness of Cyprus makes me think that this game could be a huge score for Spain.
