Leverkusen vs Darmstadt

Last season Leverkusen had many injuries problems early in the season but in the end the team from Coach Xavi Alonso was playing really well and this off-season they made some really good moves in the market and now Xavi Alonso has the team that he wanted and in the first two games we saw a Leverkusen team playing at a very high level and beat Leipzig by 3:2 at home in their season opener and than on the road they had no problem to beat Gladbach by 3:0, overall Leverkusen with the new additions looks tremendous and also been very heathly in their key players makes this Leverkusen team a very dangerous one, especially that mid-field and attack is a problem for any team to stop, Palacios, Xhaka, Frimpong, Wirtz, Hofman and Boniface.

For this game Leverkusen is without Hincapie and Schick. Adli is also suspended for the game.

Darmstadt has made it to the Bundesliga once again and now they will have the difficult task to maintain the team in the Bundesliga and to be honest they will have a hard time doing it, they lost key players from last season and pratically didn't make any real investments and in those cases that means usually big trouble ahead and the first two games kinda show that. They started the season with a road loss to Frankfurt by 0:1 but overall looked really bad and than in their home game against Union Berlin we saw the big problem in this team, they were 0:1 down and Union Berlin player got a red card in the 21th minute, in the 24th minute Darmstadt scored the 1:1 and that would make them dream maybe their first win of the season would come, but no, with 11 vs 10 they still lost badly at home against Union Berlin by 1:4 and if they had issues against Union Berlin attack with 10 they will have a nightmare against this Leverkusen attack in this game.

For this game Darmstadt is without Brunst and Hornby. Honsak and Karic are doubtful.

From what I saw from both teams in this start of the season they are playing in complete different levels, Leverkusen is flowing has an collective, nice combinations and tremendous pace and most important scoring goals after goals, 3 against Leipzig, 3 against Gladbach and 8 in the German Cup against Ottensen, so their confidence is very high. On the other side Darmstadt season start has been a mess, they lost in the Cup by 0:3 on the road against a weak Homburg team, than 0:1 against Frankfurt and 1:4 against Union Berlin, the only goal they scored was against 10 and even playing 75th minute against 10 their attack didn't produce. With all that said I just think that in this moment Leverkusen is just on another level and will win this match in my opinion and most likely by 2 or more goals, I can see Leverkusen winning here by 3:0 or 4:0.
