The team is composed of experienced players who have great support in the form of young and talented players. In the middle of the field are the experienced Bourigeaud and Santamaria, who this season will have a lot of support from Nemanja Matic, while in the attack there are players who represent the future of French football, Kalimuendo, Gouiri and reinforcement from this season, Blas. They play fantastically at home and last season they were the second best home team in the league, ahead of teams like PSG, Marseille and Lyon. I honestly think that in this match they will have the opportunity to continue their series of successful results in front of their fans, because they are visiting a team that is in a decline in form.

Le Havre has been a member of League 1 since this year, and even though the season has not yet started, it seems that they have a fight for survival ahead of them. In the first two matches, they won 1 point, and the game they showed in those matches is not particularly encouraging. The bad form they showed in the preparatory period was carried over into the competitive part of the season. In the preparatory period, they played 7 games and recorded two victories, against teams of which they are realistically of better quality. But in the other 5 games, they experienced the same number of defeats, and that was against teams competing in League 1. I think that they will have a very difficult task in this match and I can consider anything but a convincing defeat a success. Rennes is without a doubt a much better team and I expect their dominance from the very beginning of the match.
