Secondly. After a 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock at the weekend, Hearts need to find their footing in front of goal. They lost to Rosenborg in the first leg of this tie and they need to get forward in order to turn things around. However, Kilmarnock did shut down Rangers in their first game, so they’ve impressed defensively this term. The same can’t be said for a Rosenborg side who are midtable in the Elitserien. The visitors look shaky, which can be Hearts' route back into this tie. The home advantage will also play in their favour as their opponents have shown to struggle away from home.

Hearts gave themselves a lifeline in the tie with Shankland's late goal in the first leg. Needing a win to at least stand a chance to take the game to extra time, they should capitalise on the defensive frailties of Rosenborg and grab a win in front of their home fans.
