After 3 seasons in 2nd division Superettan, Halmstad managed to promote after finishing in 1st place.

To face the top division in Sweden they didn't make any big signing in transfer market.

Halmstad signed striker Antonsson from champions Malmo on loan and def Ayeh as a free agent but with experience in England and Germany.

Best scorer Paul (22/14) left to Rosenborg and it's a big blow as he was considered one of the best talents in Sweden.

During the pre season Halmstad got eleminated in Grup rounds of the Cup collecting 1 draw and 2 losts (1 goal scored in 3 games) and had only 1 win in last 4 friendlies played.

Hacken in other hand are one of the teams that will fight for the title this year. Last season they finished 3rd.

In the pre season they had many good competitive games and also reached the final of the Cup.

St Soderlung (27/8),st Yasin (35/6), def Andersson (30/1), st Lundberg (28/2) are the players who left the team. While they are replaced very good from even more quality players like st Jeremejeff from Dynamo Dresden, def Olsson part of Sweden National Team, st Heintz from Kasimpasa and talented st Lahne from Amiens.

In my opinion they are stronger than last season as showed in last games.

Big quality difference between the teams as Halmstad will have difficulties to adapt with a higher division. Also Hacken will try to start strong and try to put pressure from the beginning.
