In the first leg in Derry KuPS were the better team in the first half, and took a deserved lead.

Then the tactical changes made at halftime at Derry changed the match completely, and they exposed the KuPS weaknesses fully. The final score of 2-1 was pretty fair one.

There are however several changes at KuPS which make me believe that they are more than 50 % favourites to win this one at home.

Because of KuPS office people's shortcomings, KuPS had failed to get visas for their 3 African defenders, who are all key players in the KuPS starting lineup. They will feature today, and the defense is totally different and stronger. Both of the goals conceded in Derry happened when KuPS defended poorly in their own box, even if there were enough players. Too bad they were the wrong players unaware of their role as they had not played much, especially not together.

One piece of bad news as well, as KuPS will be without their top midfielder Urho Nissilä for the rest of the season, he has to stop playing in Finland for tax reasons! However another key midfielder Popovitch is returning from injury room - he has been for several weeks - to help out. The only other absentee is defender Toivomäki, but he would had started anyway.

KuPS won a league match v KTP by 2-0 during the weekend, Derry had a free weekend and will be more or less the same lineup today.
