In my opinion Nacional have really good chances to avoid loss in today’s match up.

Nacional have big advantage in fitness department before this game. They played last match 10 days at home. They won 1:0 against Cerro Largo. They don’t have to travel anywhere, team is fresh and ready to go. On the other hand Boca Junior played last match 5 days ago on away against Independiente and key players players like Fabra, Merentiel or Medina played in that game.

I believe home advantage will make huge difference in that game. Nacional will play front of loud home crowd and they are always very hard nut to crack in Montevideo. Nacional have excellent record at home in Copa Libertadores as they didn’t lost in 19 of last 23 home matches in this competition.

Boca Juniors in current season in Argentinian league doesn’t look so strong on the road as they failed to win in 8 of 13 away league matches (6 losses in the process). Guests currently have poor streak on the road in Copa Libertadores. Since end of 2020 Boca Juniors played 13 away matches in this competition and recorded only 3 wins during that period. In addition to that Boca Juniors 5 days ago sold to Genoa their best striker Mateo Retegui

On those circumstances for me is really hard to see Boca Juniors as a favorite of this game. Value on home side, no doubt about that.
