ARGENTINA - SWEDEN
For Sweden this is a match just to gain confidence and seal their first position in the group. However, I see them as favorites to win here.

Their strikers Magaia and Cesane were impressive, they added pace and trickery to their attacks and surely will be a danger for Italian’s defense. Thembi Kgatlana is also a great finisher and surely will find some chances to score here.
The problem of this team is at the back, where they are making some mistakes and are not well organized sometimes. It’s the main thing they need to improve to qualify.
South Africa will be really motivated here, as this could be the first time in their history they qualify for the ⅛ finals. And they have the quality needed to do that. Against Sweden (one of the best teams in the tournament), made a very good performance losing 2:1 conceding a goal at 90’.
On the other hand, The Italians suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Sweden in their last match and I’m sure the players will be extremely disappointed with that performance – especially after making a winning start against Argentina. These kinds of results use to be a shock for the morale and confidence of a team in a short tournament like this one, so Italy will start this game with a lot of doubts.
Italy have struggled for goals and while striker Cristiana Girelli, who scored the winner against Argentina, can be a great option to have coming off the bench when the opposition defenders are tired, they need others to be more clinical when chances come their way.
At the back, they failed to deal with Sweden’s aerial presence at set-pieces with three of the five goals they conceded coming from corners. While South Africa may not pose as big of a threat from dead-ball situations, I’m sure Italy will have been working on being more organised in defence.

JAMAICA - BRAZIL
Very interesting game, where both teams will be playing for the 2nd position. Jamaica has advantage as they just need a draw, whilst Brazil is forced to win to qualify.
Jamaica made very solid performances, achieving a draw against a strong team like France and then winning Panama 0:1, although they were without their captain Khadija Shaw due to a suspension (red card against France)
So they’ll approach this game with a lot of confidence, as they just need one point to be in the round of the Last 16. Their plan for this match will be similar to France’s game: solid in defense and dangerous in counters or set-pieces. They will try to hold as much as possible the 0:0, as is Brazil the team who needs to take risks and look for the victory. If they achieve to calm down the match and snooze it, Brazil will become nerves and the spaces will appear.
Their central defensive partnership of sisters Allyson and Chantelle Swaby will be key while Tottenham goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer needs to maintain her good form. I think another Spurs star, Drew Spence, will play a key role controlling their attacks from the midfield.
