Secondly. Elfsborg are flying high in the league currently. They have built on their sixth-placed finish last season to emerge as the standout team this time around. Elfsborg's only defeat in the league in this campaign came in the reverse fixture with Hacken, who were victorious by a 2-0 scoreline back at the beginning of April. That was the first encounter of the season and Elfsborg have since put together a 15-match undefeated streak, winning 12 times and conceding just nine goals. Hacken might have the best offensive record in the league, though just by three goals better than Elfsborg, but Elfsborg have the best defensive record.

With this encounter putting the team with the best attack against the side with the most impressive defence, I can only see a closely-fought contest. I am counting on Elfsborg to pull off a win here. In addition to their excellent form, they also have a fantastic away record heading into this one. Their past seven away league matches have all resulted in wins. Draw will also be on the cards considering that Hacken are not playing badly themselves. So, it is a win or a draw for Elfsborg.
