In my opinion Los Angeles have all required tools to make 3 points in today’s match up.

Los Angeles today will play last home game before one month break without matches at home so I’m sure there is big motivation to break bad streak and win front of home crowd. Also it’s important to keep home ground for play off matches later.

Los Angeles in last round failed to win at home against San Jose, but that wasn’t deserved result at all: expected goals scored for LA 1.73, for San Jose 0.57. LA so far won 6 of 11 home matches, but they played better than results shows. They scored 19 goals, but they should score 20.85. They conceded 12 goals, but according to the expected goals conceded model they should concede only 7.14. Today all key players are available and I expect high quality performance.

On the other hand St. Louis is big surprise of the season, but their results looks much better than really should. Today guests with serious squad problems. Their best player in current season (according to the ratings) Lowen is very doubtful. Best assistant Stroud is unavailable, same as second-best scorer Klauss. It’s huge blow and should have very bad impact on their performance today.

On those circumstances I see very good chances for hosts to make important win at home ground.
