The Swiss beat Norway in the opening round 2-1 and were not bad but still did not fully deserve the three points. The Norwegians had 51% ball possession and recorded more goal attempts, shots on goal, attacks (127-56) and dangerous attacks 79-35. Despite the fact that we cannot say that the win was massively lucky it is still very clear that the Swiss team were over-rated on the betting market – priced around 2.40 to win.
