In my opinion Velez have really good chances to make at least one point in today’s match up.

Velez have big mental advantage before this game as they didn’t lost against Argentinos in last 4 home matches in a row.

Velez today have all key players available and coming for this game in good mood. 4 days they recorded huge 5:1 win in Cup against Espanol at home. Hosts are really hard nut to crack front of home crowd – they didn’t lost at home since February when they lost against Boca Juniors.

Argentinos 4 days ago played at home in Copa Libertadores against poor Liverpool from Uruguay. They won 2:1, but that wasn’t convincing at all. If You look on the bigger picture, Argentinos is not in good form and it’s already long period. In last 8 league matches they recorded only 2 wins. They are poor in team on the road as they failed to win in 8 of 10 away league matches and scored only 4 goals in the process. Is hard to imagine win for them against super solid home team like Velez. In addition to that, today Argentinos will play without their best player in current season (according to the ratings) Kevin Mac Allister. It’s huge blow and should have very bad impact on their performance.

On those circumstances I see strong value on home side.
