In my opinion Israel have bigger chances to win bronze medal than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

To be honest I wasn’t convinced by South Korean matches since group stage. In first two matches they failed to win against Gambia and Honduras (in both matches they had lower expected goals scored number than opponents). They won in last match against Ecuador, but that wasn’t deserved result at all: expected goals scored for Ecuador 2.97, for South Korea 0.92. In QF they won after extra time against Nigeria, but again that was very lucky as they had only 0.28 expected goals scored in 120 minutes!

Israel in this competition already showed quality against stronger teams. In group stage they were able to win against Japan and they had higher expected goals scored number than opponents. They also recorded impressive win in quarter final against Brazil. In that game Israel produced 4.16 expected goals scored. It’s more than South Korean team in whole tournament..

Isreal really have enough quality to stop Asian team.
