Israel doesnt care anymore about this tournament. They are now focused in the future, starting with the EURO U21 which will be played this month. The team decided to send their 5 best players back to Israel to join and be ready for the U21 squad: Roy Rabivo, Stav Lemkin, Dor Turgeman, Tomer Zarfati and Or Israelov. They are the starter goalkeeper (Tzarfti), 3 regular defenders and top striker (Turgerman). Rabivo will join the senior team for the EURO 2024 qualifiers and then to U21 squad.

So Israel will put a mixed lineup here with some reserves and without their best players.

They managed to qualify in the group stage winning just one game - against Japan (2:1) scoring at 91’, while against Brazil they were totally outplayed but managed to beat them in ET, and then beat a very weak team like Uzbekistan in ⅛ finals. In the group stage they lost against Colombia and drew (being outplayed) against Senegal.

They were runners up in the previous tournament played in 2019, where they lost against Ukraine in the final. This time they lost against Italy, but are clearly favorites against Israel.

They are a very well organized team, with the ability to know how to achieve the desired result and with a lot of confidence. That’s how they beat strong teams and were competitive against Italy. Have great players like defender Choi Suk-yeon, who scored the third and important goal against Ecuador in ⅛ finals and the ET goal against Nigeria.

For me, Korea is clearly favorite here. Israel will use a very weak lineup and lacking motivation, while guests look much more stronger and motivated.

URUGUAY - ITALY

Coach Broli managed to build a strong defensive system, without conceding any goal since the defeat against England in the group stage. They have good defenders like Boselli and goalkeeper Randall Rodriguez, as well as midfielder Fabricio Diaz and good strikers who will debut with the senior team in the next matches.

On the other hand, Italy has clearly been the best team of the tournament. Managed to qualify in the group stage with very strong teams like Brazil (who beat Uruguay in the South American qualifiers) and Nigeria. In the next rounds they conceded a bit in defense, but showed also a very strong attack and midfield able to dominate and score goals very easily, thanks to the tournament top scorer and Chelsea’s striker Casadei who has scored 7 already.

Apart of the fact that european teams use to be stronger than others like South America, seeing the performances of both teams I see Italy favorite. Uruguay struggled a lot against England, whilst Italy outplayed and beat Brazil (who is stronger than Uruguay in my opinion) and showed very consistent football during the whole tournament, at a very high level.

Guests have more confidence and quality, and undoubtedly are favorites for me.
