The Argentines had 66% ball possession and recorded many more goal attempts, shots off goal (14-4), total passes, completed passes, attacks and dangerous attacks - 106-66. The biggest bookies with the largest stakes rather weirdly see Nigeria as very clear favorites here offering them odds of around 1.95 to win in regulation time - at the time of writing this preview Sunday evening Beijing time at least. I expect their odds to go up though as smart money is expected to pile up on South Korea – unless unexpected news concerning the starting lineups arrive.. I have to strongly disagree with the betting market here! The Africans do have an edge over South Korea in all areas of the game with the expected lineups. They are a physically strong team. My point is that the difference between the teams is not big.. The +0.5 goals handicap option on South Korea is an excellent bet with the current odds. The chance of winning is 59%!
