KTP VS Gnistan

KTP welcome visitors from  Helsinki, the capital of Finland, for this Finnish Cup 1/16-finals clash at Arto Tolsa Areena in Kotkalate Wednesday evening Beijing time. I know my home country’s football extremely well and we have yet another very promising betting opportunity here! I have also previewed two other Finnish Cup games. KTP play in the Veikkausliiga, the highest tier of Finnish football. The level of Veikkausliiga is low by European standards but it has still improved during the last 8-12 years. JJK play in Ykkönen, the second tier. The difference between these two leagues is massive. In Ykkönen most players are not even professional footballers. I watch all Veikkausliiga, Ykkönen and Finnish Cup games starting from this stage – many matches live at the stadium as well! Luckily for my fans and me the bookies put much more time and resources on the big leagues than on the big leagues – for example the Spanish LaLiga - than on Veikkausliiga, Ykkönen and Finnish Cup where they make many mistakes with their odds! There is, of course, no doubt about the fact that KTPare a much better team here. They are in 8th place in Veikkausliiga at the moment. They have nine points to their account after nine games. Their number of expected points (xPTS) is slightly lower though.. 

KTP are traditionally a strong team at home in front of enthusiastic fans. I expect the atmosphere to be good at Arto Tolsa Areena today! This competition is not the main priority for either team but I expect only moderate squad rotation by KTP'S excellent young coach, Jussi Leppälahti. KTP are not among the top-6 teams in Veikkausliiga and are surely motivated to try to win the Finnish Cup. The prize money for the winner is only 50 000 euros but the winner earns a ticket for the UEFA Conference League qualification for next season. This would be a massive achievement for KTP. It is improbable but not impossible! In their most recent game they beat Honka, the third-best team in Veikkausliiga according to my power rating, away from home 1-0. It was a big surprise as they were priced around 7.00 to win on the betting market. I was impressed by KTP's performance as they even recorded more shots on target - 11-8- Surely a massive boost for their confidence. The biggest, often rather smart bookies that accept the biggest stakes offer odds of around 1.55 on KTP to win during the 90 minutes of play here and that's too much. I see them having a 73% chance! Gnistan know that they probably will not win this competition - the chance is less than 1%. Their focus is on Ykkönen where they top the standings with 17 points to their account. They dream of being promoted to Veikkausliiga but this is probably not going to happen.. Yes, they have played well but their number of expected points is still much lower and the strong results have made them too hot on the betting market! They are not among the top-3 Ykkönen in my power rating that reflects the teams' pure class. They will surely try to defend hard here and a draw would not be a massive surprise but they have not faced an offense of KTP's caliber for ages and I think it will be too much for them to handle.. Many Gnistan defenders are pretty slow compared to KTP's offensive players.. Offensively Gnistan cannot match KTP either.. I also want to mention that KTP'S player salary budget (around 600 000 euros) and players total market value (close to three million euros) - according to Transfermarkt.com are at a totally different level than those of Gnistan's! I also do not fully trust Gnistan's coach J. Rantanen ahead of this massive challenge..
