VfB Stuttgart vs TSG Hoffenheim

Like last season Stuttgart only depends on themselves here to survive in the Bundesliga after winning last weekend by 4:1 Mainz on the road, with that great win they moved up to 15th place with the same points than Bochum and with 1 more point than Schalke, that means, whatever the result is of those two teams, if Stuttgart wins here they are safe and I like their chances to win it, lets see why. Stuttgart under Coach Hoeness made a lot of steps forward and overall the team is playing really good football lately, especially at home where they haven't lost in their last 3 games, 3:3 draw against Dortmund, most likely to be the Champions, than a nice 2:1 win over Gladbach and another draw 1:1 against a really good Leverkusen team but the really most important game was last weekend on the road, they needed to win and they done it, impressive 4:1 win over Mainz and Mainz is not an easy team to beat to on the road but Stuttgart done it and now they need to do it again but at home with big support of their fans.

Stuttgart is without Kastanaras for the game. Zagadou is doubtful.

Hoffenheim season is pratically over after beating Union Berlin at home by 4:2 last weekend, with that win they are safe in the Bundesliga, not officially yet but the goal difference between them and Bochum is 23 goals, so it's impossible for them to get relegated here even if Bochum wins and Hoffenheim losses. However, don't take anything from this team because they have been solid late in the season but mostly at home where they got their big results, on the road the struggle is still their and without fighting for nothing here facing a Stuttgart team who looks really good lately I think they will have some issues here in this game, but like I said, they don't need this game, their game of the season was last weekend where they gave it all and had a tremendous win over Union Berlin who saved their team in the Bundesliga.

For this game Hoffenheim is without Akpoguma, Kaderabek and Vogt. Geiger is doubtful.

For Stuttgart it's very simple, win here and you are for sure safe, if you don't win you will depend on the results of Schalke and Bochum and you don't want that for sure and I believe that will not happen because lately Stuttgart has been playing at a very high level and performing really well and at home facing this Hoffenheim team who is fighting for nothing I expect Stuttgart to be way more focused in this game and get the very important win and safe their team once again in the last round of the Bundesliga.
