And, by losing to Clermont last week, they reduced their chances of clinching the 5th position which is the minimum European competitions spot.

Secondly. Monaco's form are almost similar to Lyon's. They were impressive at the earlier part of the season, and for the greater of the season, they were competing for the top three positions. But after two consecutive losses against Lens and Montpellier, and a draw against Lille in the previous week, they have lost their place in the Champions league spots. They have still got their experienced striker, Wissam Ben Yedder, to rely on his goals as he continues to score at a regular rate. His experience and goals will come in handy against their present opponents.

Both teams are almost evenly matched at the moment, but Monaco have enjoyed a lot of success on the road this season; winning five and drawing two of their last eight away games. With Monaco needing to win this match to still remain in the discussion for the Champions League qualification, I should be expecting them to push for the win throughout the game.
