That did not stop Kisnorbo's defense from receiving only thirteen goals, and keeping a clean sheet in the club's last two visits. Melbourne's last visit was against their city rival, the last-placed Melbourne Victory, completely outperforming them with a 0-6 victory. The guests are coming from a 4-1 triumph against Western Sydney Wanderers, a game that follows Melbourne's 2-0 victory over the first-placed Central Coast Mariners.

I believe there is no way Western United matches the visitors' offense, and will certainly not be able to break their rock-solid defense.

Failing to win their previous two home matches, Central Coast Mariners seem like an underdog in the upcoming clash. This club's previous seven games against Adelaide here saw them win only once, while the visitors won on the other six occurrences. A point from a game more is what separates these two teams, but it is safe to assume Stajcic's men will not be able to stay at the top. His squad has lost its momentum from the beginning of the season, and is unlikely to stop Melbourne and Adelaide from taking over the throne.

Carl Veart's side has won its last three visits, with the last one being a 1-4 domination over Newcastle Nets. The Reds are glad to have the league's second-best attack, that managed to score twenty-four goals so far. Their main issue this season is certainly their defense, with Adelaide being the worst defending side in the top six. However, they are looking better at keeping their net safe recently, conceding acceptable three goals in their previous four games.

As I mentioned before, I think the Mariners are the underdog in the upcoming duel. I expect Adelaide to deliver, or to at least share points with the suffering hosts. Good luck!
