Hellas Verona have been galvanized by the victory against Bologna. Now they must try to earn vital points in order to surpass Spezia and climb out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.

Cremonese were eliminated this week from the Italian Cup. They had a decent 0-0 draw with Fiorentina, but obviously the squad couldn’t expect more than that.

Hellas Verona have won 2 of the last 4 matches against Cremonese (2 draws) in the league - between Serie A, B and C - after not achieving successes in the previous five. Cremonese, on the other hand, defeated Hellas in four of the last eight home matches (D2 and L2).

I don’t see Hellas Verona with good reason to receive a gift from Cremonese. Instead, the hosts will regard this match as a vital moment for them to extend their stay in the Serie A, before mathematically relegated.
