In my opinion Tottenham have bigger chances to avoid loss than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

Tottenham recorded very painful loss against Newcastle. Chairman Daniel Levy said that was ‘wholly unacceptable’ and sacked Cristian Stellini. Today first match with Ryan Mason on the bench and I’m sure we will see reaction from the team at the back. In overall Tottenham defensive formation is good. In last 16 months only 3 teams in Premier League have lower expected goals conceded number than Spurs. Ok – Tottenham failed to keep clean sheet in last 3 home matches, but before that they had streak of 4 matches with clean sheet and they played against teams like Manchester City, West Ham, Chelsea and Milan. In addition to that, two important players for their stability at the back are available again today (Lenglet and Davies).

Spurs have huge advantage in fitness department. For Tottenham is fifth match in April. For United it’s fifth match in last 14 days (game #8 in April!). It’s enormous difference at this stage of the season, no doubt about that. No team played more matches than United in current season (53) and they coming for this game after 120 minutes in FA Cup against Brighton just 4 days ago.

Tottenham is strong at home – they won 18 of last 26 matches front of home crowd. On the other hand United in current season lost all 5 away matches against teams currently ranked in top7. They are totally different team on the road, especially at the back. At home they conceded 8 goals, on away they conceded 29 goals – huge difference. In addition to that, today they are without two key central defenders Varane and Martinez. Tottenham should be able to score goals – team captain Harry Kane have chance to score goal #100 in Premier League, for sure motivation is huge. Son scored in last 3 home league matches.

United currently have some problems with goalscoring as they scored only 11 goals in last 10 matches in all competitions. Top scorer Rashford form slashed down. After World Cup he scored 10 goals in 10 league matches, but in last 5 league matches he scored only once. United scored only 19 goals in away matches, it’s poor record – 8 teams in Premier League scored more goals on the road than Red Devils. In additions to that, today they are without super creative team captain Bruno Fernandes and dangerous winger Garnacho.

All in all, I don’t see United as favorite of this game!
