Sevilla VS Villarreal

Sevilla and Villarreal lock horns in this LaLiga round 30 battle at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán early Monday morning Beijing time. This is the second-best league in the world and we can expect a high-level, entertaining match here between these two good teams. They have conceded just 28 goals in the LaLiga so far this season but have been massively lucky! Indeed, their number of expected goals allowed (xGA) is 41.09.

 The visitors were disappointing in their most recent LaLiga match losing to a pretty limited team, Valladolid who are currently in the 14th place, at home! Villarreal were priced around 1.45 to take all three points through a 2-1 win. Yes, Villarreal had 70% ball possession but only recorded a little more than the visitors in xG - 2.19-2.17 to be precise. There seemed to be some disorganization in their defense and I was not impressed by them as a whole. Before this they beat Real Madrid away from home 3-2 but I do not give this match too much emphasis. Some of Real's players even said publicly that they already had their eyes on the upcoming Champions League game against Chelsea. Indeed, they seemed to be saving energy and avoiding injuries. The win, however, seems to excite the betting market here.. Sevilla's season in the LaLiga has been a disappointment but they have now climbed up the standings and improved a lot from early season! They are a very strong team at home winning 9/11 of their latest games in front of loud fans! This week they beat Manchester United 3-0 after a magnificent performance in a Europa League second leg game. They qualified 5-2 on aggregate. They seem to be in a flow state and are slim favorites here. They have not lost any of their most recent five matches.
