In my opinion Roma have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

Roma today with the strongest possible line up, only Wijnaldum is unavailable, but he played only 10 league matches in current season. On the other hand Atalanta today without best scorer Lookman, key offensive midfielder Pasalic and two important defenders (Ruggeri & Hateboer). That should have very bad impact on their performance today.

In previous season Roma won 4:1 in Bergamo, for sure they coming here without any fear. Giallorossi scored at least one goal in last 12 consecutive away matches against Atalanta in Serie A. They should be able to continue this hot streak also today – Roma striker Tammy Abraham scored 3 goals in 3 matches against Atalanta, in 2023 only one defender in Serie A made more winning assists than Spinazzola and only two players in Serie A created more big chances than Dybala in current season. Atalanta conceded at least one goal in last 5 league matches in a row.

Atalanta is not in good form, no doubt about that. They made only 14 points in last 11 league matches.. In last home game they lost 0:2 against Bologna. In last round they recorded draw 1:1 on the road against Fiorentina, but that wasn’t deserved result at all: expected goals scored for Atalanta 0.71, for Fiorentina 2.05.

Roma is full of confidence after big win against Feyenoord in Europa League. They looking great at both ends of the pitch: more than two goals scored in 3 of last 5 matches in all competitions. Great stability at the back in Serie A: 9 clean sheets in 2023 (3 in a row now), only Barcelona from all top5 leagues recorded more. Is hard to create chances against their defensive formation – only Manchester City conceded less shots inside the box.

They scored 19 goals on away, but according to the expected goals scored model they should score 23.22. They conceded 17 goals, but according to the expected goals conceded model they should concede only 10.54.

Roma is better team and should be able to prove that on the pitch.
