Players will be fresh and at 100%, as in the previous game played in the midweek (friendly vs Honduras), the coach rested the key players and starters. This will be their first official game for the World Cup qualification.

They aren’t a very strong team, but for sure better than Estonia, especially in the circumstances I’ll explain above. The season in Belarus started a bit earlier than usual, so players are at a good pace already.

Estonia has a lot of problems for the matches for this week, including the previous one vs Czech Republic (2:6 defeat) and this one. One player was tested positive in covid, so almost the whole team is isolated for the next 10 days, including head coach Thomas Haberli.

Due to estonian rules, if there’s one positive, the team must replace almost the whole squad (everybody who was in contact with him). This happened the day before the match vs Czech Republic, so you can imagine the lack of preparation.

Because of this, Estonia will play these three matches (Czech Republic, Belarus and Sweden) with a young and inexperienced squad. Against Czech Republic, it was an absolute rape with a very weak lineup.

Even with full squads, I see Belarus favorite here. But Estonia will play with a very young and B team, not able to be competitive. Also they suffered a lot in the midweek game vs Czech Republic, while Belarus will be fresh.

This match should be another rape by Belarus. Estonia will play with a very weak team, without pace, and without preparation. Belarus will be motivated in this first match and with a full squad, should win easily.
