There were rather disappointing results yesterday in my Finland picks, TPS was a deserved loser, KPV was not, but let us move on to the first big Stockholm derby of the season!

Before the season the 5 candidates for the title were Häcken, Malmö, and the three Stockholm clubs DIF, AIK and Hammarby.

After 2 rounds Hammarby are 8th with a win and a terrible loss, AIK have lost both of their matches with a total goal difference of 1-5!

We can partly accept the Hammarby loss as it was away at the reigning champions Häcken, but AIK have no excuses with their performances and results.

Why is AIK so poor?

Since last season there were key changes in the squad, and despite the efforts they seem not to be properly replaced, as the only signing in so far who has well is winger Rui Modesto from Finnish league club Honka, he has also scored the only AIK goal so far. As a whole club the performance in the 0-3 loss to Norrköping was extremely weak.

This is not a normal league game. The venue is sold out with a huge atmosphere and basically all previous results should be forgotten, but there has been such a big class in performances this season that I like to risk a bit a go for a Hammarby win by at least 2 goals!
