In my opinion Sampdoria have bigger chances to avoid loss in today's match up than bookies wants to suggest for us in their odds.

Sampdoria have super record at this stadium as they didn't lost here since 1991 (8 consecutive matches).

Nine rounds left, Sampdoria is 11 points behind safe place, but win today can reduce the gap to 8 points. Obviously, situation is extremely hard, but there is still chances to avoid relegation so I'm sure players coming here with strong motivation to win.

If You look on the bigger picture, Sampdoria is not in horrible form or something like that. They lost 5 of last 9 matches, but 4 of them against teams from top8. They were able to avoid loss against Inter. In last round they lost against Cremonese, but that wasn't deserved result at all as they had higher expected goals scored number than their opponents.

On the other hand Lecce is in awful form - they lost last 6 consecutive league matches and scored only one goal during that run. For sure players confidence is on very low level. In current season Lecce have serious problems with winning at home as they failed to win in 12 of 14 home league matches.

I expect tight game - both teams are two the worst offensive teams in whole Serie A in two departments: shots and expected goals scored.

I really don't see Lecce as so big favorite in this game. Without any shadow of doubt vale is on away side here.
