With Coach Potter out, Chelsea Legend Lampard took control of the team till the end of the season and personally I don't see any improvements, the team continues to look lost and they are playing bad lately. In their last 4 Premier League they weren't able to win none of them and 3 of those 4 games where played at home. A draw against Everton by 2:2, a loss to Aston Villa by 0:2, a draw against Liverpool 0:0 and a loss last weekend on the road against Wolves by 0:1 and also in the mid-week they lost to Real Madrid 0:2 for the Champions League in a game they were lucky to only lose by 2 goals difference. Coach Lampard already said that for this game he will give playing time too many players who don't played the Wolves and Real Madrid game so it's likely that we will see some rotations here but even if they don't rotate it doesn't change my opinion about this game.

For this game Chelsea is without Broja, Koulibaly and Chukwuemeka.

Brighton on the other side is having a tremendous season, they are sitting in 7th place but to be fair I think they are playing much better than the table suggest, they just have many games who ended in draws that they should have won but has an collective this team plays one of the best football in England under Coach DeZerbi. After 7 games without a loss Brighton lost last weekend on the road against Tottenham is a very tough game and where they had chances to not lose too, it was a very even game where they still showed a solid performance and today they have another road game against a struggling Chelsea team who are likely to rotate so I think that Brighton has legit chances to win here, also in their last 4 games against Chelsea they never lost, 1 win and 3 draws.

For this game Brighton is without Lamptey, Lallana, Colwill and Sarmiento. Moder is doubtful.

If we look only at talent, Chelsea has the better players but if we look at the rest Brighton is a much better collective team and is also the team who is playing much better football right now and with all their focus on this game, Chelsea on the other side ain't fighting for nothing more in the Premier League and have all their focus on the 2nd leg vs Real Madrid and that's why I like Brighton here not to lose this game, I think they are playing much better than Chelsea right now and even it's not easy to win on the road, Brighton has been the 4th best road team of this season and I see them not losing here, I think we can see here a 1:1 draw or even a 2:1 win for Brighton.
