Sporting Braga vs Rio Ave

Sporting Braga has high hopes for this season and so far things are going really well, they are in 5th place in the league but have less one game and this team has legit chances to fight for the Top 3 this season and to fight for that Champions League spot even Sporting, Benfica and Porto are still better then them but the gap between Braga and them are getting much closer and Braga can dream high this season, at least they have the squad and the Coach to fight for the top3, the problem is that Braga has been playing a lot of games because of the Europa League games but even so their results have been solid, they were on a 6 game win streak in the Portuguese League and then lost 1:2 against Belenenses on the road, but that was a tough situation, they were coming of a road trip game in the Europa League and the team looked tired in that game and today I don't think they will come out flat, overall Braga has been playing amazing football if we take that loss out of the equation. For this game Braga are without Moura, Gaitan, Fonte and Carmo.

Rio Ave are coming of an amazing last season but many things has changed, the great Coach Carlos Carvalhal left the team and moved to today's opponent Sporting Braga, they lost also key players from last season so it's very normal to see them not playing like they were last season, the big problem of this team is that they love to have the ball and possession but they have no clue what to do with the ball and that's why they have all this possession but are the worst attack in the league and in the last 3 games in the Portuguese League they scored 0 goals what are not good signs for this game, I know that they have the best defense in the league but this Braga attack is powerful and will give that defensive line many problems. For this game Rio Ave is without Monte, Coentrao and Rocha.

Braga has been amazing lately, playing really good football under Coach Carlos Carvalhal and that is not a surprise for no one, he is one of the best coaches in this league and now he has a very good squad so nice things will come to Braga. Rio Ave isn't the same team this season in terms of quality they lost key players and also the coach who was a big part of their success and today I expect Braga to beat this Rio Ave team and get close again of the top 3 in the league, I think that Braga is the much better team here, they have much more quality players and their attack will give Rio Ave defensive lines many problems and also Braga's Coach Carlos Carvalhal knows this opponent really well since he trained them last season what will give Braga another great edge for this game. I like Braga to get the 3 points here and most likely to win the game by 2:0 or 2:1.
