Sevilla is clearly favorite here for me.

Although they are peddling pretty well in Europa League, in La Liga they are still in relegation zone, especially now after yesterday Valencia’s victory.

Against top teams they have been totally outplayed, with zero ideas and showing a very poor performance. The best example is Atletico Madrid last weekend, who beat them 6:1, but also Barcelona some weeks ago had total domination and could have achieved the same result.

After Atlético’s game (a shameful result for the club) for sure players will be at 200% and extra motivated. I don’t really believe that Sevilla will be relegated, but they must win this kind of games. And lately they are doing it: their recent victories came at home against weak relegation teams like Almeria.

Almeria is a very weak team and for me the main relegation contenders (along with bottom Elche). Have a very poor squad, the worst defense of the league, and are the worst traveler in the league. Away from home their performances are really poor, being outplayed and conceding a lot of goals easily. For example Girona beat them 6:2 a couple weeks ago.

Quality difference in this match is huge. Almeria’s style is very offensive which will be good for Sevilla, who feels much better playing with spaces than against defensive teams. Hosts will dominate the match and guests won’t be able to achieve the goal to nil.

I believe we will see a nice game here with goals and chances. In this situation, the team with more quality is the one who has tue advantage. And here Sevilla is undoubtedly the team with more quality in the squad. This is a crucial game for Sevilla and I’m sure they will make a good performance and achieve the victory needed to leave out relegation zone (at least for one more week)
