However, head coach Ibarra will preserve some usual starters such as Benedetto, Villa, Varela, etc. The rotation might be around 5 to 6 players.

Would this give an advantage to Velez? I have doubts here. The so-called “reserves” aren’t usual reserves who just play rubbish matches. They are more like players of Lineup B and give very healthy competition to the regular starters. For example, the attacking duo Merentiel – Langoni are regarded as reserves, but they are much claimed by the Boca fans.

I think Boca will still send a competitive starting XI into the pitch and this won’t give Velez good conditions to go for a win.
