Cadiz is improving a lot lately. Especially at home, the team is playing much better and getting good results: since the defeat against Barcelona in September, they managed to be unbeaten at home in their last 7 games.

Are coming from a huge defeat (4:1) against Athletic and next weekend will play against Barcelona, so this game is pretty important for them. Are in the relegation zone but just one point below the safe zone.

Made interesting transfers in the winter market which surely will improve the level of the team. Cadiz is a team who knows how to play this kind of games, they have a lot of experience in the fight for relegation and knows that this matches at home against similar teams are a must win or at least to avoid a defeat.

They have some missings today but almost all are rotation players.

On the other hand Girona is an offensive team with good results, sitting in the 11th position so they don’t have pressure. For this game they will miss topscorer Stuani who is suspended.

Girona is a really bad traveler. Their offensive plan when are playing away is very dangerous, because they concede a lot of chances and goals and that’s why have only 6 points gained in 9 away games: a victory against Elche (rock bottom of the league) and 3 draws.
