Getting back up may take some time. It is hardly optimal to face the league champions after these two losses. Because even though Bayern Munich has been out of form, they got up this week they were fantastic in away match against Mainz, in the German Cup. Before the national team break, there were 10 straight victories. After that, the game has not been right. One of the many reasons is that some key players are missing everywhere on the pitch. Another reason is that the team has found it extremely difficult to come to sharp ends. Half-baked chances have been created. But not as we usually see the team produce in almost every attack. In the last 3 league rounds, the result numbers have been written 1-1. Then Leipzig, Cologne, and Eintracht Frankfurt stood for the opposition. With all the points lost, Bayern Munich has lost the big lead in the Bundesliga table.
