Morocco vs Portugal

I really like Morocco has a team and so far they are showing the World that you need to respect Morocco but let's talk about them. In the group stage they ended up in first place with 2 wins and 1 draw against Croatia, Belgium and Canada but they got a bit unlucky in the draw since Spain ended up in 2nd place in the other group and for many people Spain was one of the contenders for this World Cup, not for me because I saw big flaws in their game but for the majority they were one of the contenders to win it all. So, in the 1/8 they faced Spain and beat them in Penalties where Goalkeeper Bono saved 3 penalties out of 4 and sent Morocco to the quarter-finals, which is a huge deal for them. However, some bad signs we saw during that match, Saiss is injured and I'm not sure if he will be capable to play, Amrabat and Hakimi are also struggling with some injuries, Boufal can't play a full game yet and even Ziyech was done after 70th minutes of the game, he couldn't even run anymore, overall it was a very intense game against Spain and that will be an issue for this game in my opinion.

Portugal's journey so far has been good too, they won their group after winning their first two games against Ghana and Uruguay and then they lost to South Korea in the last couple of minutes in a game they made some rotations. In the 1/8 finals they faced Switzerland and beat them by 6:1, for many a surprise but to be fair, I just liked what Portugal's Coach Fernando Santos has done here, he benched Ronaldo and automatically Portugal became a much stronger team, way more collective and dangerous and his replacement Gonçalo Ramos scored a Hattrick and also made one assist so I expect Portugal to play against Morocco with Ronaldo on the bench once again from what we saw here and in my opinion it's the best for the Portuguese team right now. 

The History of these two teams in the World Cup is one win for Morocco in 1986 and 1 win for Portugal in the last World Cup 2018. Even I like this Morocco team who has players like Hakimi, Amrabat, Boufal, En Nesyri and of course their star Ziyech they are in a very tough position for this quarter-finals, they played 120 minutes against Spain in a game they were running after the ball the whole game, most of their players were tired with 70th minutes of the game and they somehow survived against Spain and managed to beat them in penalty kicks but it's very unlikely that they will be fresher than this Portugal team who had no problems to beat Switzerland and played a very solid and relaxed game after leading by 3:0 early in the 2nd half but also because this Portugal team in the attack have players who can really hurt Morocco defensive line what is their weak spot, the issue for Spain is  that they don't play attacking football and take time with their passing game and that made Morocco be able to stay organised the whole game but Portugal has players who can make the difference like Joao Felix, Otavio, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and now with Gonçalo Ramos who are players who pressure a lot in the attack and who send the ball earlier and can get Morocco defensive line off guard and really take advantage of them. For me Portugal is the clearly better team, even if Ronaldo starts in this game I think they are the better team but playing without Ronaldo my confidence would be even bigger because they become more dangerous but it will be a very tough game for Morocco, I think they will give it all and are likely to be competitive in the 1st half but after watching their game against Spain where they give 100% during 120 minutes where they were running all the time and they looked really tired and many of their players are dealing with slim injuries and I think they will have a hard time to compete fully 90th minutes with this Portugal team, so take Portugal to win here and advance to the semi-finals.
