Despite the fantastic defense they displayed, some flaws are still noticeable in Morocco's game. The game in attack is not their strong point and it is very difficult for them to create possible scoring chances, which can be a big problem if they concede a goal early. The second thing I noticed was the physical fitness of the players. In the match against Spain, around the 60th minute, it started to become apparent that they were having a harder time withstanding the pressure of the opponents and that certain, very important players, did not have enough strength to defend themselves for the entire 90 minutes. Spain constantly held the ball, but these were not attacks that required a lot of chasing after fast players from the Moroccan defense, which will certainly be the case in this match. The Portuguese have a much different style of play than Spain, in my opinion the important midfield and attack players are much better in a technical sense. As in the previous match, Morocco will have huge support from the stands, which will certainly mean something to the players, but whether it will be enough for them remains to be seen. Certainly, they have nothing to lose in this match, but that does not mean that they will go forward with all their strength and thus risk a convincing defeat.

As for Portugal, they really played an almost perfect match, without a single mistake. The goal they conceded came after a corner with the score 4-0. This did not disturb them, because after that they scored 2 more goals. The Portuguese coach Santos decided on a very brave move and left Ronaldo on the bench, which turned out to be an excellent move as well. Ronaldo is certainly one of the best players in history, but you have to be realistic and say that he hasn't been playing at his level lately. He is 37 years old, the speed that was his trademark all the previous years is slowly betraying him and he simply does not have that much of a positive impact on his team's game anymore. It may sound harsh, but Portugal play MUCH better without him in the team. The team simply has more freedom, the younger players almost feel the need to pass the ball to him, instead of finding some other more useful solution. It would be very strange if Ronaldo was in the starting line-up for this match, especially after the match played by Goncalo Ramos, the scorer of three goals. This player surprised many, but those who follow Portuguese football know what kind of games he plays in Benfica and that he will be one of the best strikers in the near future. Next to him, it was a pleasure to watch Joao Felix play. He finally broke free from the constraints of the defensive style of play at Atletico Madrid and showed that he knows how to play very well. Portugal has extremely fast players, who even on the run handle the ball very well and will cause a lot of problems for Morocco's defense. I have already mentioned the physical preparation of the Moroccans, and I believe that Santos will be able to use that in the second half and that he will introduce the fresh and fast Rafael Leao into the game, who would play in the first lineup in any other national team. Of course, I don't expect another convincing victory for Portugal, but if they play as good a match as they did against Switzerland, I think the semi-finals of the World Cup are within their reach.
