Bayern Munchen vs Borussia Dortmund

Bayern is having a much harder season than in the past and that has a lot to do with the lack of resting from last season and also a lot of injuries and also some traveling in another timezone has hurt them but overall Bayern is still looking good and are in 1st place with only a 2 point lead over Leipzig who will be their main rival for the title this season. I think that Bayern overall hasn't looked has the same team from last season but we are starting to see that team from last season, I really liked what I saw from them against Lazio on the road for the Champions League where they beat them easily by 4:1 and than in the Bundesliga they played another solid game at home against Koln in a 5:1 win and we are starting to see some flashes from last season greatness from Hansi Flicks team. The only reason why the lead got cut to 2 points is because of the 3:3 home draw against Bielefeld and the 1:2 road loss to Frankfurt but those results has excuses in my opinion, they played the Club World Cup in a different country and timezone and that messed the team up, they looked tired in those games but than after those 2 games we saw a very strong Bayern team once again, so I expect them to start here a nice run of wins. For this game Bayern Munchen are without Costa, Nianzou, Pavard and Tolisso. Nubel is doubtful.

Dortmund 5th place is not what they were expecting this season, they wanted to fight for the league title with Bayern but very quickly we understand that it wasn't possible and now they are even in risk to miss the top 4 but they are still in the hunt, only 3 points behind Frankfurt. Even Dortmund hasn't looked good this season, many games they played really bad they are current on a 4 game win streak, they beat Sevilla on the road in the Champions League by 3:2, than in the Bundesliga they beat their rival Schalke on the road by 4:0 and at home Bielefeld by 3:0 and for the DFB-Cup they beat Gladbach on the road by 1:0. Even Dortmund won 4 games in a row I haven't liked their performances to be sincere, two of those 4 wins were against really poor teams Schalke and Bielefeld and even they beat Gladbach they were kinda lucky to win that game because Gladbach had clear chances to score but missed them all and also they lost key players via injury in that game what will be missed for this game. For this game Dortmund are without Akanji, Reyna, Schmelzer, Witsel, Guerreiro and Sancho.

Bayern usually dominates this games at home against Dortmund, on the road Dortmund usually gives a fight like in the last game in Dortmund where Bayern won 3:2 but in that time Bayern was kinda playing badly and Dortmund was playing better but in this game in particular I give the clear edge to Bayern, I really like what I saw from this team in the last 2 games playing almost at the level from last season and they should have no problem to give Dortmund defensive line many problems today since they are banged-up and in the last 3 home games against Dortmund, Bayern won by 6:0, 5:0 and 4:0 and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised here to see them winning once again by a good margin, they are in better shape and Dortmund is banged-up with key injuries and also Bayern had 3 more days rest than Dortmund, I expect Bayern to beat Dortmund here and defend their lead over Leipzig.
