USA vs Wales

When we see USA we don't really think about Football but in the last couple of years Football has grown in the States and they have produced a lot of talent and many of their players play in top clubs in Europe and this generation of the USA is their best in terms of talent but also in terms of collective and tactical strenght, this team has made a lot of noise in the U-Tournaments and they are playing together since that time and really have a great chance here in this World Cup to show their talent and at least advance the group stage what will not be easy with teams like England, Iran and Wales in their group but I do believe they will make it in this group and advance to the knock-out stages because they are a young team but in solid shape and have players like Dest, Adams, McKennie, Pulisic, Reyna, Sargent and Weah but like I said, their strenght in my opinion is in their collective strenght, they play like a team and with great pace what should give Wales a lot of problems in my opinion, the only concern on USA side is that they usually create chances to score but need tons to score goals.

Wales are kinda lucky to be here, they are here via promotion by beating a poor Austria team and than a Ukraine team who was dealing with a lot of issues because of the War but since that Wales has looked awful losing 4 of their last 5 official games in the Nations League and the game they didn't lost was a draw. Wales is an intense team where their power is in their collective strenght has a team and especially on defense, it's not easy to score on them but to be fair, I think this Wales team ain't the same team, they are older and in their domestic leagues some of their key players are out of shape, yes, they have Davies, Williams, Ramsey, Bale, Moore and James who are the core of this team but many of them are old and out of shape, even Bale is a back-up player in the MLS these days, they aren't really the same team anymore in my opinion, yes, the players are the same but it's just an older version and out of shape in many of their players this season.

This is a very important game for both teams, a loss here with England in their group can be costly and the end so I wouldn't be surprised to see this one ending in a draw, but overall I give the clear edge to USA here, I think they are the better team even many people don't think so, this USA generation is rock solid and has a lot of quality and also the enviroment of Qatar with hot weather and big humidity will favour this young squad and will cause Wales a lot of problems in my opinion and it's just a matter of the USA taking care of their chances that they will create, that's their weakness but overall I think this game will end in a 1:1 draw or 2:1 win for the USA.
