There is a well-known friendship between Adriano Galliani and Claudio Lotito. They were close to each other when Adriano Galliani was CEO of AC Milan. They were allied to fight against Juventus’ block. They always won in the Lega but their teams were weak against Juventus’s dominance.

Then they found each other again in Serie B, when Adriano Galliani became CEO of Monza. Salernitana (then owned by Lotito) were promoted to Serie A first but Monza followed them one year later.

It’s the first time to them to get together in Serie A. For sure there will be a big hug and probably something more. Lazio don’t aim at the league title and there is big margin for them to do favors to teams like Monza.
