The Transylvanians come after the victory in the Conference League groups, 1-0 against Ballkani, a success that ensured their qualification in the elimination phase of the tournament. Although I'm a bit surprised that they passed the group in front of Slavia Prague. In the league, Dan Petrescu's team was defeated last stage 2-1 in Giulesti, against Rapid. But they played in the Conference League, so that must have been their primary focus. On the other hand, guests from Craiova continued with the interim coach, Paul Raducan, but the results were still not well. In the previous round, they were defeated at home 2-1 against Farul Constanta and thus reached 6 consecutive games without a win in all competitions. Now they travel to Cluj to face maybe the strongest team in the league and I don't believe they will have a great time. The difference in the quality of these teams is immense, as the positions in the table show, the difference is 12 points. The home team has successfully completed its mission in Europe and now they can concentrate on the Romanian championship, where, in my opinion, they are still the main contenders for the title. The strongest team is expected for Cluj without any major changes. This will not be an easy game, but I believe that Cluj can defeat the guests at their stadium.
