After years in the shadow of Benfica and Porto, Sporting is finally showing signs they can win the title after many years. They are currently league leaders with 23 points 7 wins 2 draws and without defeat. Sporting's coach is suspended for this game but I think players will be motivated to put good performance for their boss. Pedro Goncalves is in a fantastic form he is a top goalscorer in the league with 10 goals and he is ready for tonight's game. Farense won last game against Maritimo 2-1 despite Maritimo was the better side in the match. The visitors are a small club, last year they have played in Segunda and I think Sporting is the far better side. Also Farense have some injured players, some important one are in doubt like Djalma and Alvarinho but despite missings, I don't think Farense can surprise Sporting, especially in Lisbon. Sporting is on the hunt for the title, morale is good and I think they have a quality team which can stay in the title race. In order to cheer their fans and bring a long waiting title to Lisbon, Sporting will have to beat teams like Farense at home.
